Radio controls for crane equipment allow personnel to safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes. Controls can be made with various combinations of buttons and speeds. The controls are also available with joystick control. Including many safety features on the control reduces the risk of injury to employees. In addition to cranes controls can operate conveyors, boat ramps, doors, and lift tables.
Below you will find details relating to the Radio Controlled Units we currently supply and install:
Simbal M880 WAVE 2-S Push-button radio
The Wave push button radio is a comprehensive range of standard remote control systems featuring up to 12 command buttons.
The M880 WAVE 2-S pushbutton radio is available with two transmitter sizes depending on the number of commands required, all transmitters can be combined with either type “L” or type “H” receivers making the WAVE pushbutton range extremely flexible.
Simbal M880 WAVE 2-L Push-button radio
Operates a continuous transmission link between the transmitting and receiving units. The radio link consists of a digital communication frames that is continuously monitored at the point of reception. This guarantee an absolute correspondence between the commands sent by the operator and the received commands. When the radio link is too disturbed or interrupted the receiver unit will automatically turn into Stop mode bringing the machine to a safe status. The possibility of customisation again extends the possible uses of this type of transmitter to a large variety of machines equipped with on/off control boxes whether AC or DC powered.
Simbal ZEUS2 (Transmitter)
Sets new a standard in fundamental industries such as constructions, travelling cranes, eco-drainage and any other application in which joystick control is the most convenient and obvious choice for managing handling operations. Thanks to a new handle and side compartments that can host further controls, ZEUS2 is even more versatile and compatible with any customisation you may require to meet your needs.
Simbal M550 Batteries and Chargers
All IMET radio transmitters use rechargeable NiMH batteries giving up to 15 hours continuous use between charges and every system comes with two batteries as standard. The chargers are supplied either with standard plug for 230VAC supply, or with a cigarette lighter-style plug for 12-32VDC in vehicle charging. Chargers can work in temperatures from 0ºC up to 35ºC and batteries will be fully charged in a maximum of 3 hours.
Simbal TYPE “L” (Receiver)
The IMET type “L” is the most common receiver for standard applications, its compact size and high level of versatility make it ideal for situations where space constraints are an issue. It is the natural choice for On/Off applications in VAC and VDC supplies and for standard applications requiring proportional outputs in VDC such as hydraulic cranes. The LAC receiver accepts a wide range of supply voltages (24-230VAC) and is equipped with 20 relays for the movement commands in addition to the start, stop and safety stop outputs.
The LDC receiver can be supplied with 12-28VDC and is available in two versions, with 16 relays for the movement commands or with 20 solid state On/Off + 8 proportional outputs for the movement commands in addition to start, stop and safety stop outputs.
Simbal TYPE “H” (Receiver)
The M550 “H” receiver is suitable for the most complex configurations. Its modular structure allows it to be equipped with up to 48 relays or 38 relays + 8 proportional outputs in addition to the start, stop and safety stop outputs. The data feedback option is guaranteed by means of half duplex radio modules. This receiver is the common partner for transmitting units having a large number and variety of commands. The HAC receiver can be powered with 24-230 vac whilst the DC accepts 12-28 VDC.
